What We Did
Brand Strategy, Visual Identity, UX/UI Design, Web Development
From research to impact The Samuel Waxman Institute for Aging & Cancer advances a new era of cancer research by focusing on one of the most important connections in human health: the link between aging and cancer. As lifespans increase around the world, understanding how aging biology influences cancer risk, prevention, detection, and treatment has become an urgent public health priority. For decades, the Foundation has supported scientists working across disciplines, institutions, and borders to uncover new pathways for discovery. But as the organization evolved, its digital presence needed to communicate more than credibility. It needed to express the scale of its mission, the humanity behind its work, and the promise of research that can help people live longer, healthier lives. Healthier Aging. Less Cancer. The opportunity was clear: build a digital system that felt as rigorous, hopeful, and collaborative as the research it represents. We created a visual language and website experience designed to make complex science feel clear, accessible, and deeply human. The result is an editorial, research-driven identity built around clarity, trust, and momentum. Refined typography, a focused purple and teal color system, modular content cards, donation pathways, and scientific visual textures come together to create a website that feels institutional, modern, and alive. A system designed not only to explain what the Waxman Institute does, but to help people understand why this work matters now.
